Description
Dal Fry is a rich and flavorful lentil dish that combines yellow lentils with a variety of spices. The lentils are cooked to perfection and then sautéed with a mix of onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies to create a savory base. The dish is then finished off with a tempering (tadka) of mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves, which adds an extra layer of flavor and depth. The combination of spices gives the dal a slightly spicy, tangy, and comforting flavor that pairs wonderfully with roti, rice, or any type of bread. It’s a great dish to enjoy on its own or as part of a larger meal.
